Letter coloring pages cover the whole alphabet, with big outlined capitals from A to Z and a Spanish Ñ for bilingual homes.
Many letters come with a little scene, such as a smiling bear holding the B, a giant apple for A, a buzzing bee and a bunch of balloons around the letter B. The large shapes are friendly for little ones just starting to hold a crayon, and older kids can fill each letter with patterns or tiny drawings of things that start with it. In a classroom, the letters of a word look great hung in a row above the board. At home, try coloring the letters of each family member's name and taping them to bedroom doors. Several letters come in more than one version, so you can choose a clean outline for a quick page or a busier scene for a longer one. The letter pages also pair well with the numbers tag for making name cards and house numbers for a pretend street.
