Aircraft

Aircraft coloring pages take to the sky with hot air balloons, cheerful airplanes, a biplane over the beach, a rescue helicopter and a rocket.
Hot air balloons drift over hills, trees and mountains, and one page fills the sky with a whole balloon festival. Their round envelopes are made for stripes, zigzags and patchwork patterns, so no two balloons need to look alike. Airplanes fly through fluffy clouds, some with a bright sun alongside, and the biplane cruises above a beach scene. The helicopter rescue page adds a bit of action, and the rocket blasts off among stars and planets for anyone who wants to go even higher. Try coloring the same airplane twice, once in daytime blues and once against an orange sunset sky. A row of finished balloons also makes a cheerful window display when the colors go on both sides of thin paper and the light shines through. Pair a page with an afternoon of plane spotting near the airport.
